We picked Residence Dorio for a winter trip, mostly to ski at Piani di Bobbio, about a 45 minute drive away. The ski area wasn’t especially close, but we also wanted to see Lake Como and its towns, so staying here turned out to be the right call. The apartment was modern, tidy, very clean, and comfortable. The view was breathtaking, whether we were waking up to it or eating dinner and looking out at the lake. It made us feel energized in the morning and helped us forget the day’s tiredness at night. It was also very quiet while we were there, which made the stay relaxing. The private parking was a big help with the hilly terrain, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout, making everything easy. We had a wonderful stay and would consider returning in summer to enjoy the lake and area more. Highly recommended.

The views of Lake Como are exceptional, and the host and owners were very friendly. Parking is tight, so I’d suggest bringing no larger a car than you need. We enjoyed the hot tub, though it costs extra. I wish the stove had been induction instead of gas, since we had a child and I don’t think the exhaust gases are healthy. Otherwise, I’d recommend the place.

We had a lovely family holiday in a beautiful, peaceful and quiet setting, with a magnificent view. Popular attractions are just a stone’s throw away. There’s a reserved garage spot as well as extra space for larger vehicles, though I’d advise drivers to rent a smaller car because the roads around the lake are narrow. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were both very straightforward. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The apartment was very clean, with a comfortable bed and a kitchen we appreciated. The lake view is panoramic. There’s a FireTV stick on the TV, so we watched a Netflix movie. Self check-in and check-out were easy using the Vikey website to pre-register.

Peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful, well-kept setting. The views are wonderful, and it’s also a handy base for reaching the many great places nearby by car, bus, or train. Definitely worth the money, and I’d recommend it wholeheartedly.
