Sitting by the pool was quite nice, but the restaurant was poor value. We only ate dinner there, and the menu was very small, with unusually tiny portions for the price. The tiramisu was especially small. You'd get three times as much elsewhere for the same price. Sorry, I can't recommend it.

The meal and wine were both fantastic, and the hosts were so kind and helpful. Casa del Contadino even helped us arrange a taxi out from Tropea. It was 25 euros per person, and we finished with homemade limoncello and liquorizia. If you're after an authentic Calabrese experience, give it a try.

A real treat. Everything grown on the farm was exceptional, and the fish and seafood, though not from there, were beautifully fresh. The service was friendly, and they were patient with our lack of Italian.

The owners made us feel welcome right away, and their kindness and helpfulness really stood out. My boyfriend and I stayed at this fabulous agriturismo during the middle week of August, and loved the place and the service. It's a peaceful spot for a relaxing stay, and we absolutely recommend it.
