From Brattirò, it’s an excellent base for exploring the whole Costa degli Dei and further afield, and the prices are among the most competitive there. The Meligrana B&B is a beautiful, multistory villa surrounded by greenery. Comfortable private-bathroom rooms are upstairs; ours, Magnolia, had a lovely distant sea view through the dense vegetation. It was simply but tastefully furnished, with air conditioning, a TV, a large wardrobe, a hairdryer, and complimentary small soaps. Spotlessly clean, too. The shared area has a fully equipped kitchen and a sofa. The owner, Mrs. Nunzia, is delightful, warm, confident, and proud of her place, and ready to meet any request. She’s generous and genuine.

A car would be useful, since public transport around Calabria is limited. Even so, the location makes it possible to visit the whole Calabrian coast. I had a perfect stay: the staff were a delight and incredibly kind in every way. I didn’t have a license, and they offered me rides, as well as cakes. The rooms had all the amenities and were perfect, at a price so affordable it made me laugh. I have nothing but kind things to say.

We stayed for a week and will definitely be back. Everything was excellent, and I highly recommend it. The rooms were great, with air conditioning and everything working properly, and the owner was very kind and always available. The property is tucked into greenery with spectacular views of the sunset over the sea, Stromboli, and the other Aeolian Islands. Its location is a big plus too, about a 10-minute drive from all the best beaches in the area.

The owner was so warm and sincere. Every morning she made delicious cakes and pies, shared fruit from her own garden, and served homemade jams. The property is lovely, clean, welcoming, and comfortable, with a spacious room that has everything you could need. It’s a peaceful place to rest surrounded by nature, or recharge after a busy day.

A really nice countryside spot just a few minutes from the sea, with excellent hospitality and service. Special mention to the owner, Nunzia, who’s lovely, generous, friendly, and always available. Her homemade jams and cakes are delicious, and so is her kindness. The whole family shares those qualities. We recommend it. Nadia and Salvino
