Camping Daino

The pitches are close together and the campsite is small, but it has all the facilities you need. There isn’t much within walking distance apart from a great Pizzeria. We stayed at camping Daino for 5 nights and had a great time. The kids loved the pool and play area, and the showers and toilets were spotless, high quality, and added a bit of luxury to camping. It’s a good base for exploring different parts of Trentino. We’ll definitely be back.

There was a pool guard there all the time, which was reassuring, and the swimming pool looked clean. The mountain backdrop is lovely, and the bus stop is really close, handy if you’re arriving by train from Trento. The toilets and showers looked very clean and nice, and there’s even a bar with dinner options. After several days of wild camping, the bread service and fresh coffee were a blessing. A very nice camping.

Camping Daino is a great campsite, but the service soured the trip. A problem with the booking software put us down for dates different from the ones we selected. They were still able to fit us in, first in an emergency spot for a few days, then in a normal one. But they charged the normal spot rate for the emergency pitch, even though it was about three times smaller and extremely cramped for our setup. Once we moved, lots of people walked across our normal pitch instead of going around it. Other campers also regularly stayed up, making noise and talking loudly until around midnight, two hours past the campsite’s quiet time.

There are plenty of bike paths to explore, and the campsite has a nice cafe for breakfast. It’s a great spot with good facilities, a great team, and lovely scenery around it. The site is very quiet, too.
