Stella Alpina Hotel e Ristorante

The broken refrigerator in our room spoiled the Italian cheeses and fresh pasta we’d bought as gifts. They were worth 64 EUR and had to be thrown out. We noticed the problem in the evening, when nobody was at reception to help. In the morning, management heard what happened and saw the loss caused by the faulty fridge, but only said “sorry.” They refused compensation or any financial responsibility. That felt especially unfair after they charged us a 50 EUR late check-in fee for arriving just 30 minutes late, with no flexibility at all. We stayed at Stella Alpina Hotel last night, and the management’s double standards and lack of accountability made the experience extremely disappointing. A hotel shouldn’t charge guests down to the minute for being late and then take no responsibility when its broken equipment causes a direct financial loss. I highly recommend finding somewhere else in the area where guests are treated fairly and professionally.
