The moment I walked in, I felt uneasy. The rudeness was unbelievable, so I got out of there as fast as I could, and I’m glad I did. There are much better and more available places around that area. I strongly advise against it. Run away!

The family running this place is so courteous, and the prices feel fair. I always stop here on the way to or back from Sicily. The rooms have been renovated and are very clean, though not all of them are quiet, so I’d pick one facing the olive grove. The service is friendly and the food is good. The menu’s small, but the mozzarella, pasta and meat are all worth having.

At €120 a night, I didn’t feel the setup justified the price. The rooms were clean, but there was no refrigerator and breakfast was very poor. The owner also wasn’t very friendly. There are better places to choose from.

Parking beneath the olive trees was a lovely touch, and the grounds are cared for down to the plants. There’s also a large, current book collection for guests. We found this a handy base for inland nature spots, with the coast an easy, pleasant drive away. The welcome was warm, breakfast was excellent, and the Covid safety rules were followed carefully. Highly recommended.
