Edolo is an easy walk away, with plenty of essential services, and you can also stroll to the pedestrian path beside the Oglio River. The hotel, now a B&B, is well placed for trips on foot or by car. There are two supermarkets, a gas station, a very good pizzeria, and a tobacconist within walking distance, along with the bus stop for Milan/Ponte di Legno. Agnese works tirelessly and is always available. The rooms are spotless and carefully sanitized and disinfected. They’re not especially large, but have all the essentials, plus a small veranda that gives you a holiday feel. The shower has hot water. Good value for money. Small dogs are accepted. We needed somewhere to sleep after giving up our hike partway through and getting back down to the valley. We called to ask whether a room was available, and the hosts did everything they could to arrange one quickly. We stayed in two different rooms, and both were very clean and tidy. The hosts are very kind. We’d originally stopped here before hiking a few stages of trail number 1.

The room was basic but clean, and the woman who checked me in was extremely kind and helpful. She let me park my motorcycle in a private area at no extra cost. There’s a coffee machine by the entrance, and coffee capsules are provided in the room, also free of charge. The place is quiet and well located, with very good value for money. Recommended.
