The location is right beside a busy road, so there was steady traffic noise, with planes passing overhead too. The villa itself was dirty: the blankets and sofa were stained, the shower cabins had grime and limescale, and the drain was clogged, which we had to clear ourselves. The wiring was faulty, and an electrician didn't come until two days later. Glasses in the kitchen were worn and the knives blunt. The air conditioners were dirty and smelled awful. I can only hope there weren't Legionella bacteria. Outside, the kitchen had a layer of grease and the pizza oven was dirty. The furniture was worn, and the cushion fabric was crumbling from sun exposure.
