Poggio ai Vigneti

We had a lovely family stay in a spacious house with four adults, three children, and a baby. The pool was clean and well placed in the pretty garden, and the village around us was quiet and private. The view is magnificent, and even though it's a very small place, there is a bakery and a pizzeria. Each floor has its own entrance, plus there's an internal staircase if you need it. Both floors have a kitchen and a bathroom. The owner lives next door and was discreet, friendly, and quick to answer all our questions. You'll need a car for groceries, about five minutes away, and to get to Bergamo, around 20 minutes, or Milan and Lake Como, about an hour by car. There are several other lakes nearby. Pool safety could be better, though maybe standards differ from France. There's no fence.

It's very peaceful here, with beautiful countryside and a nice private garden. The city is a little far away, about 16 km. My only drawback was that the studio could use a few more basic amenities.

A quiet, characterful village, with a bakery right on the square. You can find something there from breakfast through to pizza.

The area is beautiful, with Lombardy and Lake Iseo nearby. The quality is excellent and I'd highly recommend it. If you're heading to Italy, it's ideal for a family of two.
