B&B Erba

There’s plenty of parking, and the rooms were clean, though quite basic. The property is on the edge of town and has no elevator. Breakfast isn’t provided, but guests can use a shelf in the shared fridge. There’s a restaurant and bar downstairs, but we didn’t try them since they’re closed on Sunday mornings.

I booked a week ahead, but when I arrived for check-in, the property looked very shabby and nobody answered either of the two listed numbers, no matter how often I called. I ended up finding somewhere else. They never called me back, that evening or the next morning. Avoid this place. Even one star feels far too generous.

The B&B was spotless and well cared for, but its position made it hard for me to sleep properly. It’s right beside a main road, and there’s no door onto the landing. The two corridors leading to the waxing room are almost open to the outdoors.

Outside, the location is a little disappointing, but the rooms inside are large and immaculately clean. The air conditioning worked well, and both the fridge and beds were huge. The beds were comfortable, too. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend it.
