This is definitely a hippy hostel, with a welcoming, sometimes chaotic feel. It suited us well, though it wouldn't be the place for someone after something chic. We stayed for eight days in November to take a break from moving around, and it was lovely and quiet, with a nice kitchen and sweet cats. The marina is just a few minutes away on foot, and the beach is close and beautiful. Most of the staff were really nice, though one man could be rude at times. Getting around is less convenient: it's far from the train station and grocery store, and the buses don't run, so walking helps. We paid around 13 Canadian dollars a night, definitely under 20, which felt fair. I'd go back, but not for 50 Canadian dollars a night. I don't understand why the price has suddenly gone up.

There are lots of spots to hang out, from the bar and kitchen to the terrace, rooftop, gardens, and ping pong room. The place is bright and colorful, the atmosphere cheerful, and the staff are genuinely nice and supportive. It works well for a quiet getaway or time with a group. The beach is less than a 10-minute walk away, and Napoli center, the Amalfi Coast, Vesuvius, and the ruins of Ercolano or Pompeii are easy to reach.

The people are great, the facilities decent, and the breakfast comes with coffee, juice, a croissant, and jam toast. Whether that's worth it is up to you. It's a little outside town, around 1 to 2.5 km from three train stations. The shower setup is a bit unusual and soundproofing could be better, though most other things are quite good. Bring exact change for the 10 euro keycard deposit.

We felt at home right away after a long coach journey, and really liked the look of the place. The staff were lovely and helpful from the start, especially when arranging our airport transfer. Our private room was very clean and comfortable, although the shower ran a bit cold and gave us a few funny moments. There were lots of cats and dogs around, which made it feel homely. We can't wait to come back.

The terrace was a highlight, with views of Vesuvius, the stars, and the Gulf of Naples and the sea. The bathrooms were good, the staff friendly, and the people laid-back, with a really nice feel to the place. It's environmentally friendly, too. The train station is about a 15-minute walk away. I loved my stay and would definitely return.
