The front desk service was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and polite. The room looked nice and was quite spacious, but there was no A/C. The bathroom needs updating: the shower tub was cracked, the shower head had mold and rust, and there was nowhere to put it.

The main thing going for this hotel is how close it is to Herculaneum. The staff are welcoming, and the casa has high ceilings and some beautiful decor. The room itself was Spartan, though, with an uncomfortable bed, a TV that didn't work, and a shower set in the old jacuzzi with no screen. Breakfast was continental, but the bread was stale and hard to cut.

The garden is huge and well cared for, and it's a beautiful building in a great location, as others have said. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful throughout. The pool got a little unclean toward the end of our stay, and the air conditioning wasn't great.

4/10
The staff were lovely, and the location was handy for restaurants. The pool was pleasant enough too, but very run down. The booking-site photos weren't accurate, and the place has definitely seen better days. Breakfast was poor, the bathroom was awful, the shower enclosure was too narrow and water went everywhere, and road noise was horrendous. We cut our stay short and moved to a better hotel. Shame 😔

10/10
The staff were always ready to help and went out of their way, especially Elena. Breakfast each day was amazing, and the pool was great. The rooms are clean but outdated. Still, you get what you pay for, and you're there to travel, not spend time in your room.
