I liked how new and well equipped the place was, and expected to love it. The room was stuffy and hot, though. Air conditioning is limited in Italy, and since we were on the ground floor I couldn't simply open the window. The waterproof mattress cover was the worst part, it felt like sleeping on a plastic bag. Surely other guests sweat too?

I had a deluxe room with a huge private balcony, and it was very nice. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully designed, with top quality amenities throughout. It's a beautifully restored hotel in a perfect location.

The welcome was impeccable, and the breakfast was plentiful, with both savory and sweet choices. Our room was bright, clean, and roomy, and the hotel's lovely spaces were kept immaculate. Congratulations to the team!

I would add a few more loungers to the spa so everyone can make use of it. It's tastefully done and fits the hotel's style. The whole place feels welcoming, with warm lighting bringing out the details, and the mix of historic charm and modern, refined design makes for a stylish stay.
