The breakfast was a standard free one, and the rooms were clean. We stayed just one night and it was okay overall, though I wouldn’t choose this place for a vacation. The pool was closed, which hadn’t been mentioned when we booked. Check-in also felt odd: the desk staff offered to keep our passports and return them later, with no clear timeframe. They said registration would take a long time, but when we said we’d wait, it suddenly took no time. I have no idea what that was about, and it made us uneasy.

The beach is close, and the beer is cheap. The pool was a plus, and breakfast was alright with good coffee. But the beds were so awful, like sleeping in a hammock, that I can’t remember a hotel with worse ones. The air conditioner seemed to be on its last legs. The room didn’t smell clean, more like someone was covering it up with bleach or something similar. The place needs serious refurbishment. Never again.

The room was clean and roomy, with everything I needed, even if the decor wasn't especially modern. Breakfast was a real plus, with pies, cakes, fruit, and brioche, plus tea, coffee, or cappuccino to choose from. I was there for one work night in spring, when it seemed to be mostly workers staying; I imagine summer brings more families. The hotel sits on a hill in Ancona, about 400-500mt from the sea. There's a restaurant if you'd rather stay in for the evening. The one downside was a petrol smell some mornings, which I think may come from a nearby oil plant.

I cancelled my stay, but more than a month later I still haven't received the refund they promised. Massimo at reception was incredibly rude. The owner either doesn't care about service or doesn't know how to run a hotel.

The woman serving coffee was quick and really nice, thanks and greetings to her! Breakfast was good, with regular food options alongside the cornetto.
