We’d been driving all day and needed somewhere for the night, so we picked this place at random from Google Maps. What a find. The food was incredible, the best meal I’ve had on this trip so far. I wish I’d taken a photo of the blue fish with onion vinegar and mint. Delicious, and unlike anything I’d tasted before. The owners are incredibly friendly, everything is reasonably priced, and the clean rooms had what we needed: air conditioning, a little fridge, comfortable beds, and a small balcony to enjoy the view. We’ve marked it on the map for a future visit.

Francesco and his barefoot father made our evening unforgettable, and the warm, familiar feeling is all around the place. The homemade Sicilian food from the wood-fired oven was delicious. Prices were a little higher, but I’d highly recommend it if you’re looking for something authentic.

Fresh seafood and really tasty flavors, with the owner, who also serves, and his son both very nice. If you’re after a relaxed, family-style restaurant, give it a try. You won’t regret it.

Salvatore and his son Francesco made us feel so welcome. And the food was fantastic, delicious, and wonderfully Sicilian. Just unbelievable.

The food and the owners were both great, and it’s a lovely place to stay. If I make it back to Sicily, I’ll definitely want to stay here again.
