The food was delicious, and the service was really great. The rooms are lovely, and there’s a comfort zone at the hotel too. I recommend it.

The hotel is right in the center of Fanano and has a lively feel. The enthusiastic staff and their effort to create an alpine atmosphere give it a character of its own. The pizza is unusual, though. Its soft dough might be made with organic wheat, but either you’ll enjoy that difference or find it odd. It definitely isn’t typical Italian pizza.

The dining team really made this stay for me. They were brilliant, kept the food coming on time, and were patient with my limited Italian while trying to understand my English. They cleared plates and refilled the jug as soon as it was empty, and the food was good too. My room was decent, though the lighting was very dim and the sockets need replacing since newer adapters don’t fit. I heard rumors about live wires and broken or missing windows in other rooms on the first floor, but that was only hearsay. I’d definitely stay again if I had the chance.

The hotel was plain and uncomplicated, with nothing to complain about but nothing that really stood out either. The bar serves food, and you’d regret skipping a meal there, trust me. The next morning they even drove us to Rifugio Ninfa in the mountains for free. That was excellent service and deserves a mention.
