Dear Mr. Luigi, serving me cardboard instead of tagliata was bad enough. Nobody told me the room had to be paid along with dinner, yet I was asked to pay for dinner straight away. Then at 10 p.m. someone knocked and demanded payment for the room. Don’t make excuses. The service was terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible. I never asked for anything, and you, who offered me “cardboard” for dinner, probably don’t know what a tagliata is. Don’t laugh about it again.

There’s another hotel in Italy with the same name. I tried to book this one through the Booking.com link, but it didn’t show up under that name. Searching by name brought up a hotel with the same name in a completely different location, so you could end up booking the wrong one. Please be careful. They won’t offer a refund.

The owner was kind, but the B&B was in terrible condition. It doesn’t have a sea view because it’s in the second row, with a larger B&B in front. I visited in March 2015. I also reviewed it on TripAdvisor. The owner contacted me privately and said a family depends on that business for a living, and that it’s the fault of the people living upstairs that he can’t renovate the house. I’m sorry, but guests who book a room may have families too, and perhaps that one weekend has cost them real sacrifices.

The owner and staff were kind and helpful, and the value for money is great, especially considering the location right on the sea. The food was really good too. Definitely try the chitarrine allo scoglio and the fried seafood cooked by Luigi.
