Farfa is tucked away, and at night you can take in the abbey and the stars while wandering its little streets. This was easily the nicest B&B we stayed in during our trip around Italy. In December, the place felt warm and inviting, and we could enjoy an open fire. The rooms are beautifully decorated, arty and soulful while still modern, with thoughtful extras like Aleppo soap and erborista toiletries. They greeted us with a generous aperitivo of wine, cheese, and prosciutto, all sourced with DOP. Breakfast at the attached coffee shop was beyond excellent. I can't recommend it enough.

The room was clean and welcoming, and Marcello was wonderful and very helpful. His father was fascinating to talk to as well. We appreciated everything, and the cheeses, wines, and oil they make themselves are well worth trying. Thanks for it all.
