A simple B&B, with a lovely pool and a beautiful setting. A good choice for a short stay 😊

The first impression was disappointing: nobody was there to greet us when we arrived, and despite having used self check-in before, this place gave us an uncomfortable sense of abandonment. The rooms are comfortable, though not all of them, but ours wasn't properly clean, with dust, cobwebs, and a dirty air conditioner. There were also lots of insects, which made it seem as though the garden's upkeep hadn't been given enough attention. We had to ask for the dirty pool to be cleaned. There are good sides: the property has huge potential, among olive trees and only minutes from the sea, with a pool and private parking. The people we dealt with while booking and during the stay were genuinely kind and helpful, and communication with management was excellent. Still, the experience fell short of what the place promised. For me, tourist hospitality depends on more than helpful communication, and those other essentials were missing.

The room had a small fridge and was adequate, but a few details needed attention: there was no shower column, no enclosure to keep water from wetting the rest of the bathroom, no shampoo dispenser, and no toilet paper holder. It was a shame breakfast was no longer available. The setting itself is lovely and quiet, among olive trees, with a clean, well-kept pool. The beaches are a five-minute drive away, and tourist towns including Ostuni, Polignano, Monopoli, Locorotondo, and Alberobello are nearby. I highly recommend the property.

G. was the bright spot here. She welcomed us and clearly put effort into making the place shine, despite what felt like the owner's superficiality and complacency. The pool was beautiful and clean, and the setting was peaceful and lovely. Those were the only positives. We stayed for eight days and got the same low-quality breakfast every day, which certainly didn't feel worth the €120 a night. My room was awkwardly arranged: the bed was right by the desk, so I had to lift my leg to get to the bathroom, and it blocked the closet door from opening all the way. The air conditioner made an incredible noise, the sink sometimes smelled of sewage, the toilet was broken from the moment we arrived, and the hair dryer was incomprehensible. The manager didn't greet us or even make a point of getting to know the guests who had chosen to stay there. When I brought up these problems at payment, I was arrogantly told nothing could be done about them and the price stayed the same. They said I could have chosen somewhere else if I didn't want to pay €120 a night, and that it was a B&B, not a farmhouse, so that's how things were. I paid and thanked them because I'm an honest, good person, but never again. I was far too kind. This is painful work without a shred of love, and they even make fun of you.
