Breakfast was one of the best we've had, with an abundant, elegant spread of fresh local ingredients and traditional dishes. We also loved the fish at the seaside restaurant, and pizza nights and live music in the piazza gave the resort a lively village feel. It was easy to imagine returning with children someday, since the place seems suited to different stages of life. Our small casetta felt like part of the village, with its stone piazzas, winding paths, and intimate clusters of homes. Rather than feeling like a hotel, Borgo Egnazia had the feeling of a timeless Italian hamlet. The whole design draws on Puglian tradition, from limestone and olive and lemon trees to woven materials and soft neutral colors. Bowls of lemons, local nuts, candles, and natural textures made the space feel grounded and carefully composed. The white linen worn by the staff added to the calm, understated mood, and small details in the rooms, like a bowl of salt for energy cleansing and dried herbs such as sage, gave things a ritual-like, symbolic wellness feel. Candles throughout the space made the atmosphere warm and almost cinematic. The experience felt less like a hotel stay and more like stepping into another world. We left feeling restored and already thinking about coming back.

Bike rental was fun, but we were surprised that the bikes couldn't leave the complex. A ride through the beautiful countryside would have added a lot to our stay. The outdoor Borgo Piscina also needs better facilities: the warm-water showers had no warm water, there was no privacy or changing room, and no hair dryers. Still, we had a wonderful two days at a big family reunion. The receptionist made us feel welcome, the food at all the restaurants, including the one by the seaside, was excellent, and the indoor pool and spa were very good. We loved the complex's authentic Apuglian architecture. We'd definitely return to Borgo Egnazia. Thanks for all the dedication.

The food and service were impeccable. Even just arriving made us feel calm, and the design is beautiful. Although everything was built new, the attention to detail helps keep the place authentic.

We left already thinking about coming back. Borgo Egnazia feels like an experience in its own right, with immaculate grounds, wonderful pools and spa, and a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere. The architecture is stunning, shaped by local tradition while still feeling refined and serene. Every meal was a highlight, with delicious food beautifully presented and rooted in Puglian flavors and local ingredients. The service stood out too: the staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming without being intrusive. They went out of their way to make us feel cared for throughout our stay.

The food, gelato shop, golf course, and every corner of the property were all 10 out of 10. What really made Borgo Egnazia special, though, was the people and service. Everyone was warm, kind, professional, friendly, and ready to help. We felt welcomed into a local family, and Loredana, Gianvito, Rosita, Giacomo, and Devid treated my wife and me just like family. Thank you to them and the whole Borgo Egnazia team for making our stay unforgettable. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to relax, have fun, and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
