La casa di Sara

The owner met and greeted us when we arrived, and was courteous, friendly, and helpful. In the kitchen we found basic ingredients, plus bottled water and a packet of biscuits. Those small touches matter a lot to me. Sara's home is comfortable and welcoming, and preserves the local Fasano style with high vaulted ceilings, pointed arches, and exposed stone, all lit in a harmonious way. The spacious bathroom has every comfort, and the apartment is well equipped, with a washing machine, drying rack, functional kitchen, and a reserved space in an adjacent shared parking area. Fasano’s center is a few minutes’ walk away. It’s also easy to reach the seaside and inland villages such as Locorotondo, Cisternino, and, a few kilometers farther on, Ostuni. The Selva and the Safari Zoo are close too. We found the Capitolo beaches especially beautiful. There are plenty of paid parking lots there, averaging €5-6, with access to both public and private beaches. One small drawback: since the apartment is on the ground floor, its three small windows, plus a fourth in the bathroom, don’t allow for quick ventilation. The air conditioning helps, of course, but it’s not quite the same. We also struggled a little to dry our swimsuits and towels after the beach.

The apartment is wonderful, and Mrs. Giuliana runs it with such kindness. Its central spot in Fasano makes it easy to get to all the tourist attractions nearby. It deserves 6 stars.

Just arrived today, and this place is spectacular! Every detail has been thought through, and Giuliana was incredibly kind.
