Masseria Torre del Diamante

I was staying at a nearby Masseria rather than here, but came over for dinner and had a 10/10 evening. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented, with professional, attentive service. The owner was especially kind and offered me a lift back down the road so I wouldn’t have to walk alone in the dark. A wonderful experience, highly recommended.

The owner was lovely and waited on us herself. Great service, tasty food, and lovely wine suggestions. The atmosphere was really nice, and we had a very enjoyable evening.

The room had plenty of space for us and came with two bathrooms. Breakfast was really good, with lots to choose from, and the restaurant served great food in a lovely atmosphere. Everything was very clean, and the staff were wonderful and easy to communicate with. The only hiccup was the gate key fob, but the staff gave us another one. A great experience.

The place looks lovely, and breakfast was very good, but there were a few avoidable downsides for this price range. It was hard to find a shaded spot outside at breakfast, and the ordering system, with everyone waiting in front of the buffet, felt unnecessarily complicated. The four-person suite had two bathrooms, which was nice, but the beds in the second bedroom might work for small children and really aren’t suitable for adults or teenagers. The connecting rooms on either side also made it a bit noisy. The pool looks great, though there’s no shade over the sunbeds, so everyone has to hunt for a tree. The little private terrace outside the room had no shade either, making it useless in summer. The pool bar cocktails weren’t the best we’ve had. It’s a very nice-looking place, just with some needless drawbacks.
