Suite Fasano

Valentina was a very responsive host, and we felt extremely comfortable in the suite. It's centrally placed in Fasano, with free white parking spaces on nearby side streets, though a fairly narrow car like a Fiat Panda is a good idea. We used it as a base for the Zoo Safari, the coast, San Domenico golf course, the modern and interesting archaeological museum of Egnazia, and lovely Monopoli. Locorotondo and Alberobello, with their trulli houses, are close too. For Zoo Safari, get there before it opens or the wait can stretch to hours. The suite is huge and quiet at night despite being on the street. There isn't an outdoor area, and indoors it feels like a secure cave, cool in summer and perhaps too cool in winter, though there's a small heater. We stayed three nights at the beginning of May. The room is fully equipped, with a Lavazza coffee machine, tea kettle and other practical things. The style is great, including the shower and bathroom. Its six-meter ceiling, cross vault and side chapel for the sleeping area make it feel like a chapel, although apparently this is a traditional way to build houses here. There's another bedroom upstairs on the second floor, so four people can sleep here. We slept like gods.

A lovely place, definitely recommended. I gave it to my wife as a gift and it worked out really well. Hours of peace and tranquility.

Mariagrazia gave us lists and plenty of ideas for places to visit and eat, which helped us make the most of our Puglia holiday. The apartment was spotless, beautifully furnished and right in the center. Highly recommended.
