Albarìa Favignana Apartments

The house was just as pictured, well equipped, and the terrace was a lovely place to spend the evenings. The town is close, and we explored the island on a bike and an e-bike we rented from Giovanni at a very fair price. He also picked us up at the harbor without us having to ask, then drove us back on departure day. We stayed two nights and had a great time. Giovanni is a truly exceptional host, and it’s a wonderful place to stay.

The house sits in a large garden and is both quiet and self-contained, with elegant furnishings. It’s close to the town center and to the most beautiful beaches. Giovanni helped with our luggage on both trips to and from the port, suggested the best beaches depending on that day’s wind, and did his best to accommodate every request. I’d recommend renting e-bikes from him for quick trips around the island and some breathtaking views. A wonderful stay, and thanks again for everything.

Giovanni is what made the stay stand out. He’s kind, helpful, and ready to sort out any problem. The three annexes are set within a large garden, with the owner’s house in the middle. They seem recently built and were clean, tidy, and well maintained. Inside, the rooms are a good size, with a simple but comfortable bedroom and a bathroom that’s just right. The outdoor shower and sink are handy, and there’s a rack for drying laundry quickly. A peaceful place just outside Favignana town, ideal if you want to stay away from the bustle. Top marks.

The cottages were clean, comfortable, and well looked after, and the outdoor areas felt private and peaceful. The location is excellent, just beyond the town center but still within walking distance. We had a lovely week in August, thanks to Giovanni and his family, who were polite, welcoming, and always helpful.
