Blu Vacanze Residence

I'm giving this one star because I was put in the only unnamed room, which sits above the cistern that stores water for the residence. I believe having guests stay above a cistern is forbidden by law, and I feel the owners are putting their own comfort first and neglecting guest safety by offering that room. I only discovered the issue on my last evening, when the cistern filled all night and the pump kept running. The sound of dripping water and the pump made it impossible to sleep. Reception closes at 20:00, so nobody was there by then. There was no WiFi, despite the property having three WiFi lines.

We had a wonderful holiday at this residence in Favignana. The staff were always kind and helpful, welcomed us warmly, and gave us great suggestions for beaches, excursions, and restaurants. Our rooms were clean, tidy, and well organized, with comfortable, functional spaces, and the common areas were well kept and good for relaxing. We especially appreciated having a dedicated place to leave our luggage and freshen up on our own before departure, a practical service arranged down to the smallest detail. Highly recommended for comfort, cleanliness, and genuine Sicilian hospitality!

It's in a handy central spot, but away from the city's bustle, about a three-minute walk from the center. The staff were friendly, helpful, and really empathetic. The port and rental shops aren't far away. A positive experience.

The rooms are clean, with shampoo and conditioner provided in the shower, and there's parking too. It's a residence, of course, but for what it offers, it's perfect. The center is only a two-minute walk or bike ride away.
