Our ferry was cancelled in the bad weather, and the communication from the hotel was terrible. They suggested another ferry that was running, but it couldn’t take cars, so we were told to leave our rental on the mainland and hire another car on Favignana. The receptionist also suggested getting around by bike or motorbike. In an announced thunderstorm? That was ridiculous. They wouldn’t reimburse us either. For a hotel in this class, I expected much better service. Poor.

Vincenzo, the Director, was very kind and willing to answer questions and handle our requests. The location is terrific for exploring both sides of the island, and it’s about a ten-minute bike ride from the center. There’s direct sea access, too. Highly recommended, it’s an astonishing place.

The apartments were lovely to stay in, beautifully designed and furnished. The setting is spectacular as well. We had a wonderful time and would happily return. I’d gladly recommend it.

I loved this tucked-away spot on the island. It’s welcoming and picturesque, with private access to the sea and sunbeds built into the rocks.
