The place was so hard to find that it felt almost impossible, and you can only reach it with an off-road vehicle. The steep gravel slope also makes it hard to get back out, though the owner promises to pull you up with a tractor. It’s advertised as a camper van, but all you get is a flyaway extension and access to an outdoor bathroom. Neither that nor the rest of the place was clean. I left early, so I won’t comment on the kitchen. From what I’ve read, it was exactly what I expected.

We’d booked online through The Fork, but when we arrived the place was closed. It was 104 degrees, and when I called the owner, he seemed almost to expect us to apologize. The location is difficult to reach, with an unfindable address and a steep road. The rudeness and access were both problems, and judging by the other reviews, the place doesn’t seem particularly good.

The hosts were welcoming, and the road was good and well signposted. Only the final stretch was unpaved, but it was easy enough to drive. The appetizer had typical cured meats, though perhaps too little cheese. The fusilli were superb, with delicious sauce and excellent pecorino. I didn’t care for the meat, maybe it was cooked poorly, but the fries and salad were excellent. I recommend it!

Absolutely avoid this place. The food was spoiled, the pasta overcooked, and the staff arrogant. After waiting a full hour for pasta, it arrived cold and without seasoning. Hygiene was poor, too. Two underage girls were serving dishes at the table. The owner was arrogant and ignorant, and still charged me €10 for a plate of pasta he himself refused to try.
