Pucci Country House

We spent the start of September here as a couple and, with hardly anyone else around, really enjoyed the peace. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Our room was tidy and very clean, with a kitchen, quiet and effective air conditioning, and a door straight onto the big terrace. It has seating and large awnings, so mornings and afternoons outside were comfortable. Bring mosquito spray. The pool and its surroundings are kept in great shape, with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. The breakfast room is roomy and comfortable. Breakfast is Italian and mostly sweet, with fresh fruit, juice, yoghurt, and excellent coffee. They’ll also make egg dishes if you ask. Dinner wasn’t being served while we were there because so few guests were staying. Keep that in mind if you’re arriving without a car, and consider checking ahead. Reception isn’t staffed all the time, so it’s best to confirm your arrival time the day before. We really liked our stay and would book here again if we return to Ferentillo. Thank you 🙏

We found it easy to feel at home here, even though my Italian isn’t very good. The rooms were comfortable and there was lots of parking. Dinner was delicious, with a lovely view. Breakfast downstairs was fresh and self-serve, with coffee available to order. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We were in town for a wedding and loved the mountain and valley views. Alessia looked after the included breakfast and was delightful, very accommodating, and so personable. She’s a real asset to the hotel, and they should keep her. We took breakfast out to our terrace to enjoy the scenery, and could order cappuccinos, espressos, and other coffee too. I didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but I’d love to return and would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was spacious and pleasant, and the air conditioning kept it cool in the heat. Ferentillo looks especially lovely at sunrise and sunset, and the pool area is great, with loungers, showers, and shady umbrellas. The kitchen is very basic, though, and could use a kettle, microwave, tea towels, freezer, and a few other things. There isn’t much happening nearby, and during our week no one offered us fresh towels. This would suit people who mainly want to relax by the pool and eat out.
