Hotel Bassetto

I was born and raised in the United States, and I highly recommend Hotel and Restaurant Bassetto to anyone looking for a place to stay in Italy or hoping to learn about Italian culture. The food is exquisite, the service is high quality, and everyone is friendly and puts love into what they do. They make you feel at home and teach you so much about Italy. You can see people leaving satisfied. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who works here. You’re the best ❤️. The food is excellent, and Luca the waiter deserves top marks. Highly recommended.

At around 60 euros, I thought the price was okay, though nothing special. By car, the hotel is fairly close to the highway and Ferentino city center, and there's a restaurant with the same name nearby. The rooms are decent and clean, but the interiors, from the bed heads to the floors, furniture and elevator, look clearly stuck in the 80s or 90s. It could definitely use refurbishment. The staff speak basic English at best, if any. The 24-hour reception may be hard to match in the area, but I'd only stay here if I needed to and couldn't find a better option.

The rooms are reasonable, though they could use some updating, and the hotel is on the outskirts of ferentino. It's a pleasant family-run place, with polite, friendly staff and very good food.

We came to Ferentino to see the town where my grandpa grew up before he immigrated to the United States. Our group was large, about 11 people including babies, and Hotel Bassetto looked after us so well. The hospitality was amazing. They helped arrange transportation and even gave us a little tour with information about Ferentino. The food was delicious, and it felt like staying with family. We'll definitely be back.
