We had two connecting rooms and two bathrooms, which worked really well with the children. There’s a playroom with books and toys, plus two fluffy bunnies, and a huge, well-equipped park just behind the hotel. The murals on the walls are such a sweet touch. It’s a lovely family-run place in a really peaceful spot. Lana is so sweet and always up for a chat or a great suggestion. We’d love to come back if we’re in the area again 🩷

The setting is lovely, with nice nature along the drive to the lake, which takes 30-40 minutes. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was great too. I’d recommend this place to everyone!

We especially enjoyed the Tibetan Trail, which starts right next to the guesthouse. It’s a highly recommended 3-4 hour hike to the Santuario Madonna della Corona church, and the owners even picked us up at the endpoint. They also shared useful tips about nearby hikes and places to see. The welcome was warm, and breakfast was made fresh for each guest. Dogs are welcome for €10 per stay, and there’s a large public car park across the road. We liked it so much that we extended our stay. If we pass this way again, we’ll come back.

The family keeps renovating and improving the hotel, and they really make you feel at home and looked after. For a 2-star place, the service has been better than anywhere else of that rating I’ve stayed. I look forward to waking up to those breathtaking mountain views and their breakfast. My usual pick is the ham and cheese omelette with pancakes, all made with love, and you can tell 🤤. It’s well worth the price. Even if you’re just passing through, pop in for a coffee or a drink at the bar with some nibbles. You might end up wanting to stay the night :)
