Agriturismo Valpagliaro

We stayed over the June 2 long weekend with our dog and had a great time. The quiet, relaxing place is ideal for families, and the apartment was fully equipped, with the living area downstairs and sleeping space upstairs. For four of us and the dog, €90 per night felt fair. Breakfast isn’t offered, which is a shame. One safety concern: getting into and out of the shower is a little negative and slightly dangerous because it’s very slippery. Everything else was top-notch!!!

There’s lots of parking outside, along with a gazebo with a table and chairs. The two-story house has a fully equipped kitchenette and a sofa in the downstairs living room. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a bathroom, reached by a narrow wooden staircase with closely spaced steps. One bedroom has two beds and air conditioning, but it doesn’t reach the other bedroom, where we slept. The shower is nice, though there’s nowhere to put toiletries. I found the bed a bit uncomfortable, while my partner fell asleep right away. I’d told the host I have trouble sleeping, and he kindly gave me a little extra time to leave.

We booked through Booking.com. The rooms aren’t sealed, so cooking leaves every room smelling of food. There are lots of mosquitoes. The listing says there’s air conditioning, but there’s only one split unit for all the rooms. It also mentions fans, but there weren’t any.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay is easy to get to. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place to unwind, with what a holidaymaker could want, including a suckling pig grill as well as a “regular” one.
