We'd hoped for two romantic days in beautiful Ferrara, but the stay was nothing like I had pictured. The room and property looked very different from the advert, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The two mattresses kept shifting apart, and I could still feel the springs in my back. They promoted an excellent breakfast, but I couldn't find any sign of one at all. There was no breakfast, and the room wasn't tidied either. I've stayed in B&Bs before, but never had an experience like this.

We were in town for a Bruce Springsteen concert, and the price was very fair. Everything was fine apart from breakfast being unavailable. Thanks anyway, Christian!

There was loud TV, laughter, and noise from downstairs all night, with no consideration for the other guests. At 11pm I messaged the owner asking them to step in, then sent another message at 2.30 in the morning. I got no reply until 7.00, just a simple apology and the suggestion that we could go knock and complain ourselves. That's not the paying guest's job. The manager doesn't live at the property, and the result was total chaos.

Nothing worked, and the place was dirty. The owner was nowhere to be found and apparently hides the air conditioning remotes to save energy. I wouldn't recommend it to travelers.
