Best Western Park Hotel

The location worked really well for our stop before flying from FCO, and we found it good value for what we paid. The staff were so welcoming and nice. We were upgraded to a renovated room, which was very good. The hotel itself is quite old and generally hasn’t been renovated, though.

It’s a good option for a longer business stay too. Room service could use a bit more training, though, so they remember to top up the water and coffee or tea in the room.

The area is quiet, but the surroundings felt like something from a post-apocalyptic movie. The staff were really kind and helpful, which was the one bright spot. We arrived at 16:30 and were given keys to a room that hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests, so we waited in the lobby with our luggage while it was sorted out. In the room, the window wouldn’t shut properly and we could hear wind coming through. They moved us to a room that was already clean and ready, which we could have been given from the start. The shower had weak pressure and the water was only a little warm. Even with the helpful staff, the hotel wasn’t worth the money at all.

There’s a large garden, an outdoor pool, and a car park, and the prices are fair. The staff were kind and always available. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel’s own restaurant serves delicious Roman traditional dishes. It’s just outside Rome’s ring road, northbound on the A1.
