Villa Ginevra Resort Agrituristico

UPDATE 2024: We came back to the same place this year, something we’d never done before, and enjoyed it even more. Last time we spent most of our stay visiting interesting places within a two-hour radius. This time we stayed at the villa more and ate here more than six times, for both lunches and dinners. The Sicilian food and service were spot on. We asked for a few special dishes along the way, including carbonara and octopus, and the chef was very happy to make them. There were 16 of us, the rooms were very clean, and the staff were always smiling, helpful and ready to deal with even a very demanding group. Well done to the whole team, and a special thank you to Maria GRAZIA and everyone else. We first stayed for five nights with a group of 14, and couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. We’ve been coming to Sicily every year for more than a decade and have stayed at many agriturismos. This is by far the best so far. The food was among the best we had anywhere in the region, which says a lot given how many great Sicilian restaurants we tried. We’d planned to eat here twice but ended up coming back four times. They also took care of guests with celiac disease and sourced specific gluten-free items and other hard-to-find ingredients for someone who was highly intolerant to gluten, cow’s milk dairy and all nightshade foods. The location is breathtaking. Arriving at the main reception, I was reminded of the green mountains around the island of Capri. The rooms had character, were very clean and had an incredible view. Antonio kept a close eye on things, and Simone and the rest of the crew were impeccable, always there when we needed them. I really can’t fault the place. We’ll return, since I doubt we’ll find anything better next year. We only just managed to book four months in advance, but that’s understandable.

The view from the lovely pool was spectacular, and our rooms were beautiful and clean. The staff were wonderful and happy to help with anything. We had an amazing experience, and I’d definitely recommend it.

We loved the view, the pool, the food and the clean, cozy rooms. Marcus, Roberta and Mohammed were so nice. We want to come back, and fully recommend the place.

The islands were in full view, with nothing blocking the lovely outlook, and the swimming pool was elegant, though it isn’t shown in the photo below. We stayed in the dependance, which was a bit dark. It had AC and mosquito nets, but there weren’t many sockets for devices like a phone or iPad. Breakfast was okay, though not especially plentiful. The July price was good.
