Pension Fellis

This was a great base for my motorbike holiday, right in the heart of the Dolomites. I stayed several nights and was well looked after by the friendly staff. The room was very clean and spacious enough for a summer or winter stay, and breakfast was excellent. The village is peaceful but has the basics you need. On a rainy day I took public transport. The bus through the mountains was an adventure, but the service was very convenient. I highly recommend staying here for its classic hospitality.

The hosts were warm, friendly, and accommodating, and breakfast was beyond superb. I also appreciated how quiet, clean, and orderly everything was. The little village was even lovelier than the place itself. It’s adults only, and I only heard loud guests on the last night. At least they quieted down at a reasonable time. My room was small but worked perfectly well for someone small like me. The shower was quite good. I’m 180cm and 57kgs, though, so if you’re substantially larger than that, you may want to consider a bigger room. The room got stuffy at night. There’s no air conditioning, which wasn’t a problem by itself, but no fans either. Opening the outside door let in mosquitoes, and leaving the door open to the hallway felt like a privacy issue. A fan or a screen on the door would have helped. Otherwise, my stay was perfect!

Waking up to the impressive views was a real pleasure, and I really enjoyed the village. It’s a small spot on a hilltop in the middle of a valley, with plenty of restaurants to choose from. There are lots of ways to get outdoors, including hiking and cycling, and Alpe di Siusi is definitely worth visiting while you’re here. This is a very good pension, with friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. The room and shared facilities were very clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet had good quality food and plenty of choices.

I biked through the Alps, and this was the best place I stayed on my route. It was great value for a solo traveler on a budget. After finishing my bike trip, I came back to stay for my last day as well. They had bike storage and an amazing breakfast buffet. The place is at the end of a street, so the view is perfect.
