We were surprised by how cold it got at night, even in August, so pack warm clothes. The campground has a lovely, cozy feel, and there's a forest nearby for hiking. We paid 30 euros for one night for two people, 10 for the tent and 10 per person. There’s a pool, so bring your swimsuit if you want to relax there. You can cook at the barbecue areas, and drinking water is available. The staff were really kind and spoke English very well. The toilets were a bit messy and old, though moderately clean.

The setting is naturally beautiful, but the campsite itself is neglected and falling apart. There’s litter around and some structures have been abandoned. The restrooms are dirty and in poor condition, with no hot water.

The natural surroundings are lovely, but there’s little else to recommend the place. The bathrooms were filthy, old, and in terrible shape. We needed to leave unexpectedly, but nobody answered the phone, just as nobody had answered when we first arrived. You can only pay in cash, no bank card. The one bright spot was a kind, helpful young guy who works there. I didn’t take photos of the bathrooms because they were shameful. I can’t understand how a place like this is still open.

There’s no phone signal here, which suited us fine since we wanted a break from the city. The campsite is tucked into nature among pine trees, with a stream running through it, and it’s a fantastic spot for hikes and barbecues. The owners are lovely, humble people who are always ready to help, and the guy who works with them is helpful too. When we had trouble with the camper’s water, they helped us sort it out right away. The restrooms are old-fashioned but clean. I recommend the place.

What we’ll remember most is how attentive Emanuela was. She even brought a little lunch right to our pitch, which doesn’t happen everywhere. She and her husband, the new managers, are kind and clearly putting a lot of effort and creativity into bringing life back to a facility that seemed abandoned. My husband and I spent a few days there in June in our camper van, and the affordable fee was another plus. The campsite sits among pine trees, waterfalls, fresh air, and a stream that flows through it. We also hiked along the Aniene River and saw the waterfall. Thanks for such a lovely stay. We’ll definitely come back! Paola and Piero
