Hotel Europa

Breakfast got us set up for the day, and the hotel is very close to the beach. It’s well priced, with a balcony room and sea views this time around. A lovely spot to relax, listening to birds chirp and the sea crash against the shore. The rooms are impeccably clean and cleaned daily, and there are good facilities for locking up and washing bikes. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They even kept ice packs for my injured partner, going above and beyond.

We travel a lot and stay in all sorts of places, from campsites to 5-star hotels, but it’s rare to find such open-hearted, genuine warmth. Every staff member really seemed committed to making our stay special. The hotel is older in style but cute and clean, and everything works well. The roof has amazing views. I’d also recommend a sea-view room, it’s worth it. The location is quiet and good, while still being close to the nicest part of the beach and town.

The staff were all friendly and very helpful, and breakfast had a good selection of food and drinks. The rooms have been fully renovated and were super clean, including the balcony and glass door. The hotel is great value for its location and the room overall. I was surprised, though, to find there was no air conditioning. There was a large ceiling fan, which made the stay okay, but the hot, humid summer weather was still uncomfortable. A better place for drop-offs would help, although it’s only a short walk from several public parking areas.

We’ve stayed at Hotel Europa in Finale Ligure twice now, and both visits were great. The beach is an easy walk away, and after a ride it’s handy to have somewhere to wash the bikes. Parking was convenient too. We loved the atmosphere and are already looking forward to another visit.
