The kitchen was a highlight for us, especially cooking together and using the pizza oven. We had a great week here with family and friends. There’s plenty of space to spend time together, and quiet corners to unwind too. Whatever the weather, we found nice places to hang out. The kids had lots to do: swimming, pool, and gaming kept everyone busy. We also went horseback riding, which was great for beginners, and used the fitness room nearby almost every day. A lovely place to relax and have fun with the people you care about. Thank you, Giordano, for hosting us!

Our week here was wonderful, and the host made us feel truly welcome with a warm, generous spirit. It’s a charming, beautiful property with several cosy houses, plenty of room, and a huge outdoor area for relaxing. We’d happily recommend it.

The grounds at Villa Torre delle Rose are large and fairly remote, and the stay itself was fine. Our dealings with the management and vacation rental contact, though, were truly horrendous. The villa and its furnishings are old, and employees there told us restoration work is ongoing. After checkout, management accused us of damaging furniture and billed us €2,000 for surface scratches on an old wooden floor, plus €500 for a sunbed that was already broken and that we had reported to them directly. We repeatedly asked for itemized receipts and proof that we had caused the damage. They didn’t provide documentation and called us liars, even though we had supplied proof. After they charged our bank account without authorization, we had to involve legal representatives to get the money returned. The whole ordeal was embarrassing. It left us feeling that the owner was trying to make guests pay for new furniture and other restoration work. I strongly advise against staying at this villa.

A beautiful place. The owners were attentive to all our needs.

The on-site staff were very friendly and helpful, but the property management agency was not. The place itself is charming, though at the end of the stay we were also billed for electricity, gas, and water at prices we felt were seriously unfair. That’s an illegal practice in Italy, since energy can’t be resold at a higher price. We raised it with Airbnb support because utilities are listed as included there, but our five-day stay still ended up costing €400 more. Be very careful before booking.
