Fabio was a charismatic, decent guy, and the staff and service were both kind and great. I really enjoyed staying at this lovely little hotel in Fiuggi. Salute! Ci vidiamo!

The rooms were freezing, there was no proper heating, and the water was ice cold, so taking a shower wasn't possible. At Hotel Elvira, the hygiene was appalling: filthy bathrooms, dirty rooms, and an awful stench. The sheets hadn't been changed in five days. It felt as if guests' comfort and basic cleanliness didn't matter at all. This place shouldn't be operating as a hotel. Avoid it unless unhygienic, cold conditions sound appealing.

The hosts were friendly and the food was delicious. Its location worked very well for visiting both Naples and Rome.

Dinner was very good, and the hotel is in a good location. It's a comfortable, friendly, family-run place.

The worst three-star hotel I've ever stayed in.
