The self check-in instructions were easy to follow, and there’s a nice cafe next door. But the chemical smell was overwhelming, giving us severe headaches and trouble breathing. No staff were on site, and nothing could be done, so we booked a nearby b&b for a little more money. It was well worth it. The property still refused to refund the prepaid night. I can’t recommend this place.

They offer transport to and from Fiumicino Airport for €10 per person. The area is quiet and centrally located for shops and restaurants.

Miriam at the front desk was lovely, friendly, and professional, and everything went smoothly. The bed and breakfast is on a quiet residential street, a few minutes’ walk from lots of bars and restaurants along the Tiber river. Getting to the airport was quick and easy. I’d recommend it to anyone needing a room near De Vinci Airport.

Miriam gave us a warm welcome and suggested the cafe next door for dinner. The pizza there turned out to be the best we had in Italy, a great bonus. The room was clean and tidy, and they arranged a shuttle to and from the airport. With the airport nearby, it made for a calm, easy night before our long flight home to Australia.

2/10
The room was awful, with uncomfortable beds, a cramped bathroom, and no bathing amenities. Service was painful, too. The hotel is outside the airport in an old house converted into guest rooms, with street parking. There are no meals, and airport transport costs far too much. Forget it.
