Guest House Brezza Marina

Maria was a kind, helpful host and spoke good English. La Brezza Marina can also arrange a 20 euro ride to the airport at whatever time you choose. We came just to sleep before our early flight home, but if we return to Rome, we’d stay here again and spend longer in the Fiumicino area. Our room was clean, a little bigger than expected, and had a patio. There are many restaurants within walking distance; we ate at Ristorante Oltremare and recommend it. A clean beach is also an easy walk away.

We stayed one night before an early flight. The hostess was friendly and suggested good restaurants in the area, especially for pizza. The room was clean, had a nice view from the third floor, and there was a convenient elevator. Parking was included and easy.

I booked for my wife and me five months ahead and paid in advance. On check-in day, my train was delayed by a technical problem on the line, as were all trains heading to Rome on September 16, which was public news. I told the hotel I was on my way and asked them to wait because I’d arrive just 30 minutes after the deadline. They said that was fine. But when I got there, they said nobody was available to receive me, and even mocked me when I asked whether I could find another hotel nearby. Luckily I did. They cancelled my reservation and kept my money anyway. They don’t care about people, only money, and took advantage of our good faith as tourists. Never again for us.

The host helped us arrange a taxi for 5:00AM, which made our early flight easier. We stayed with family the night before heading to the airport, and the place was spotless. The host was so nice, and the beach was just a five-minute walk away. It looked beautiful, and there seemed to be plenty of restaurants nearby. Our room was nice, with a large balcony, free Wi-Fi, and perfect temperature control. There’s even a little elevator, so we didn’t have to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs. I wish we’d had another day in the area. Highly recommend.
