Little Rose Guest House

The room was clean, and the amenities were good. It's very small, and the gate was confusing to get through when coming and going. The kitchen is shared with other units. For the price it wasn't bad, and it worked for a quick shower and a night's sleep before flying out of Rome.

Lovely hosts, and a cute, clean little place close to the restaurants and the wharf. I'd stay again.

The rooms and building were clean and secure, and the area has a nice atmosphere, good restaurants, and a marina. The neighborhood itself is somewhat run-down. I did like the area, but I wouldn't stay at this accommodation again after our experience. The Booking.com listing mentioned some shared space but didn't make it clear that this was hostel-style, with a shared common area and kitchen. The check-out instructions also conflicted: the kitchen instructions referenced on Booking.com said 11 AM, but the room listed 10:30. We were woken just before 8 AM by loud talking and staff cleaning other rooms. A staff member had her child with her, and the child was playing a tablet loudly. At breakfast around 8:30, we felt rushed to leave, although we explained we were just getting food and planned to check out by 11. At 10:35, a staff member knocked, pointed aggressively at their watch, and shouted something in Italian. We speak very little Italian, so I showed them the kitchen instructions to explain. The conflicting times caused needless confusion and frustration. We left by 10:50, feeling rushed and poorly treated as paying customers.

The owner was quick to respond, and the room was simple. It was on the second floor, in a great location very near the pier, with fresh air and lots of restaurants nearby, especially 'Sergio's gelato'. Thanks to the kind owner, and to Mr Emanuelle for driving us to the airport early in the morning.
