The rooms have an old-fashioned feel, but they’re kept up well and were super clean. The facilities looked really nice, though I didn’t get time to try the sauna. The food was very good, and the location is great for hikes around the beautiful valley. Service was fantastic, friendly, and helpful.

The regional food was a highlight, especially the pink, succulent beef I ordered. The wine suggestion was local too, and just right. We had a tremendous view across the valley, and our room was spotless. Everyone was kind and friendly at this lovely family-run hotel. Booking through the website was straightforward.

The food was really tasty, with several different dishes for dinner, and we all left full. We hadn’t planned this stay and came spontaneously without high expectations, but we all liked it a lot. It isn’t a typical hotel and has its own character, which may not suit everyone. The view is wonderful, and the staff are very friendly. If you pay attention to the photos inside, you can learn more about the hotel and its people. There’s also a sauna.

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and there are lots of hiking tracks nearby. The surrounding mountains make for a beautiful landscape. Room size and quality can vary.

The food was delicious and better than I expected. The location is very nice, and the staff are friendly. The place felt appropriate for the standard it advertises. My room was tiny, though, and there were suspicious “black spots” on the bathroom wall and ceiling.
