The staff were friendly, and being near the airport and tram line made getting around easy. Still, this place is a dump. We booked through QANTAS for our honeymoon because I assumed they wouldn’t partner with dodgy hotels like this. The first room was full of rubbish and hadn’t been cleaned, so we asked to move. The next room smelled off, had no hot water, the minibar fridge wasn’t even plugged in, the AC wouldn’t start, and the toilet stopped flushing at random. The guy at the front desk was nice, but seriously, fix the hotel. Avoid it like the plague. They need to fix these problems or go out of business. You can’t cut corners, mate.

The reception had a welcoming Indian guy who was kind to me. I had a pleasant stay and slept well. My room was big enough and the facilities worked, except for the flush tank.

I booked and paid for this hotel on February 13. Now it’s April 20, and they’ve tried charging my card three more times, saying I haven’t paid. Then they cancelled my reservation with my trip only a month away, even though I’d already paid for the room. Everything nearby now costs three times as much, and I’m left without a room. I’m furious, and they still haven’t refunded me because they claim I never paid. This is a scam, avoid it!

You get what you pay for. This hotel is cheap, and the good thing is it’s close to a tram station, about a 10-minute walk. But be ready for what you’re getting. It felt like a jail, and it really wasn’t good. We had lots of bedbug marks, the shower was terrible, and we didn’t even use the blankets because they looked like they hadn’t been changed in years. The room was never cleaned properly. The receptionist was very kind, but he wasn’t usually at the desk. I didn’t get a good rest here, though it did save me a lot of money.
