We were greeted with pizza for lunch and a bottle of red wine, and one night we even got a lift into the center with a mini tour along the way. The hospitality made us feel like friends of the family. We can't wait to come back. The villa is a dream, full of history and cinematic charm, with an elegant rustic style. Our private ground floor apartment was chic and old fashioned in the best way: a high-ceilinged bedroom with antique furniture and a comfortable bed in fresh white linen, a clean, functional bathroom, a tiny kitchen we used for breakfast and post-swim lunches, and a main sitting room. The quiet terrace looked out over nothing but green. Hard to believe we were only 15mins by car from central Florence. The pool is a good size and sits among olive trees. Apart from the weekend, it was empty and felt private. Thanks so much🍃🏊♂️

The building is wonderfully cinematic, with a great terrace and a pool tucked among the olive trees. Its history comes with some of the most amazing hospitality. I'll be back soon!

A lovely house with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. The pets are friendly, and Anna was a wonderful host.

Anna, the hostess, is very friendly and makes a delicious homemade breakfast each morning. It's also handy for reaching the tram into the city center. The house has a lovely atmosphere. It was built in 1464 and was home to the Pocetti family, who were somehow connected to the Medici.

The welcome was wonderful, and the fresh breakfast was delicious. Our room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the pool among the olive trees was lovely. It was just beautiful! The whole place has an old world atmosphere, so relaxing that I wished we could've stayed longer. You'll want a car to visit Florence, about 15mn away. They give you directions to a parking lot in the center, and honestly it felt great to get away from Florence's crowds and heat after a visit. Nothing to complain about. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.
