Villa Borghese BB

The city center is only a short drive away, though the property isn’t quite central. We spent a couple of nights here this summer while traveling to Lecce and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were genuinely kind and friendly. We had trouble finding the place when we reached Foggia, but the owner called and guided us there. Our room was very nice. The bathroom was a little small, though more than adequate for two nights. Along with the breakfast buffet, they brought us fresh croissants from the bakery in the morning.

Finding Villa Borghese isn’t straightforward from the outside: there are no big signs, so you need GPS, the house number, and the exact place to pull in by car. Once inside, it’s a tiny B&B that feels clean and elegant, qualities the city lacks, as Foggia is a bit shabby and dirty. Everything is new and very clean. The room has air conditioning, a TV, and a mini-fridge, and the bathroom has a small sink but a large, comfortable shower. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was basic but perfect. You can tell they’ve invested a good amount in this quiet, clean, orderly little corner. Highly recommended!

We were just passing through Foggia and stayed at this B&B. The hospitality and cleanliness made a positive impression, and breakfast was plentiful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and so was the bed. I highly recommend it.

The lady who welcomed us was patient and kind, even though we were a little late for check-in. The cleanliness was impeccable, without a speck of dust. This beautiful B&B is carefully maintained down to the smallest detail, with antique-style furnishings that seem thoughtfully chosen. I think it was completely renovated recently. Highly recommended.
