Bed&Breakfast Il Borgo del Fattore

The family running the B&B were very friendly and full of advice about nearby activities and walks. We were there in late October and early November, and the fresh olive oil smell from the mill greeted us. Our dog was welcome too, even in the breakfast room. Our place was huge, with its own entrance, two rooms, and a bathroom. One room had a sofa bed, coffee table, and TV; the other had a double bed, wardrobe, and desk. Breakfast was plentiful. We always went for the sweet option, with croissants from the nearby bakery and delicious homemade cakes and cookies. It took real effort not to eat too much. The location makes it easy to get to different parts of Umbria. One thing to watch: the access road is quite narrow, and a wide car might struggle. Also, if you follow the road signs instead of the GPS, you can reach the main road much more easily, without the crazy detours.

Federica was wonderful, always ready to help and available whenever needed. I stayed here while walking the Via Lauretana, and found my room very large and well kept. Breakfast was plentiful, too. It's ideally placed for a visit to the Menotre waterfalls, which are truly unmissable. Thank you!

The owner's kindness and readiness to help felt unique. Il Borgo del Fattore has a calm, relaxing feel and really made us feel at home. Nature surrounds the charming, historic property, and you can hear the stream flowing nearby. It's close to the area's main sights and places of interest, and four-legged companions are welcome too. We left with a little melancholy after such a lovely stay.
