Agriturismo La Dolza

La Dolza Agriturismo was fantastic when we chose it for our wedding welcome dinner. Josephine helped us pull everything together, and the staff were quick and responsive on the evening. The food was incredible, and all our guests enjoyed the adorable puppies there.

Josephine and her sister went above and beyond to help us rent and transport bikes, and my wife and I will treasure exploring the local roads on them. We spent three nights at La Dolza with our two teenage daughters. The property and accommodation were affordable, clean, and well maintained, and Josephine, her family, and staff have made a beautiful retreat in a lovely part of Italy. The girls loved the horses, chickens, and especially the Samoyed puppies. Breakfast had plenty of fresh meats, cheeses, fruit, and baked goods. Staff were always around to make a cappuccino or spritz, or offer advice, and they speak very good English. Our room was spacious and comfortable, though the loft was cramped and stuffy. Not a serious issue since the kids slept there. 😈

The children had a great time with the dogs and the other animals, including horses, cows, goose, and goats. It's a wonderful spot with a beautiful view of Castel Brando. We came with friends for lunch and I'd highly recommend it. The dining room was really small and crowded, but the sound didn't bounce around or give us a headache, unlike places with plaster ceilings. The menu was limited, as in all agriturismo, but everything was very fresh and superbly tasty. Prices were good too.

A great base for exploring "La strada del Prosecco". The owners are friendly and serve homemade cheese and meat products at reasonable prices. Breakfast can be enjoyed outside in the green garden, under the olive trees. The dogs bred here are well behaved and very good with children. Beautiful place to stay.
