Agriturismo Villa Isa

Fabrizio gave us a lovely welcome and useful ideas for itineraries, beaches, and restaurants. Agriturismo Villa Isa is pet-friendly, and it's a great base for the beaches and other places to visit in the Maremma. It's along the old Via Aurelia, outside central Follonica, though the center is only a few minutes away by car or bicycle. The villa is beautiful and welcoming, and everything was exceptionally clean and carefully looked after, from the garden and pool to our well-equipped apartment. The furnishings were meticulous too. Highly recommended!

Our dogs could relax with us and even made friends with the owner's lovely dog, Olivia. That pet-friendly welcome is worth 10 stars to me. Fabrizio was so kind and helpful, and I’ll definitely recommend the place and return when we can. We spent a weekend here with friends in a lovely villa among greenery, olive trees, and vineyards. The gardens were well cared for, the apartment was clean and tidy, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The pool was beautiful and enjoyable. Thanks, Fabrizio!

Supermarkets, beaches, and Follonica center are just a short drive away, and there are plenty of excursion options nearby. The apartment and shared outdoor areas are well cared for. The big pool has two depths, so it works for everyone. Fabrizio was kind and helpful, and his faithful dogs were around too. They make their own olive oil and wine, both very nice. We had a really lovely stay.

The one drawback for us was road noise, since Villa Isa is close to a busy road. Better soundproofing on the windows and doors could address that and improve the stay further. Everything else made for a very positive week. The pool was clean and maintained well, with different depths, and was a lovely alternative to the beach. Fabrizio added a personal touch, greeting us warmly and sharing helpful advice on places to see and restaurants serving local food. His local knowledge helped us plan our days. Our apartment felt welcoming from the moment we arrived, with a calm atmosphere, practical layout, and everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean and in good condition, with thoughtful furnishings. The villa is a little outside Follonica, surrounded by greenery, and well placed for exploring the area's attractions. Coves, supermarkets, Follonica center, Scarlino, and more were easy to reach. I can recommend Villa Isa as a base for exploring Follonica and the surrounding area.
