We spent one night in what felt like a magical castle. The rooms are huge, with lovely high ceilings, and there are angels above the bed. Slept well, and the price was very low. Our Labrador was welcome too, which we appreciated.

Free parking, a lovely garden, and hosts who made us feel welcome. Nice place.

I booked through Airbnb, then my reservation was cancelled out of nowhere less than an hour before check-in. There was no explanation, and I got no reply to my message. I understand that unexpected things happen, but at least a quick note would have been polite. It left a poor impression of the host.

The apartments are roomy, comfortable, tastefully furnished, and kept in good condition. The building itself is old, but it has been looked after inside and out. We’ve stayed twice and Mrs. Carla was kind and helpful both times. I expect we’ll use this place again on future trips.

I wouldn’t recommend booking here. After I confirmed my reservation, no check-in details came through. I called to ask how to get in, but nobody answered, and the phone was disconnected for hours. Since I had no idea whether anyone would be there when I arrived, I ended up searching for another room in the middle of the night. Their mistake meant I couldn’t stay, and they still refused to refund me.
